happy chinese new year! its so boring and luckily we didn't do much visiting this year... but some people are coming over later.. i think my mother's friends.. yesterday i wrote my first diary entry of the year (haha v.late!) ...on a piece of paper.. i still haven't gotten a book for that yet.. oh yes i added a new link for photos... just trying out to see which one is the most user friendly.. and i'm in the middle of creating some snow effect for this site.. hopefully it'll be up soon :) well well... ive forgotten what else i was about to say, but anyway... american idol three has begun!!! finally! exactly 8 months after number two ended... and I LOVEEEEE scooter girl nicole tieri!!!!! nicole, you're my american idol already!!! :) she's like the most talented person ever and somehow i kind of have this respect for her... she has this certain aura about her that makes me like her :) anyway, some other favourites of mine now are: the red haired guy and blue shirt guy with the soothing voice, and the blue dress negro girl, martha the army girl.. i can't wait for next week's episodes... i hope the good ones that deserve the title get into the finals... and i suppose i know who i'll be rooting for ;)
today was quite a boring day except for the high point when i went to pick up my bro from camp... he was on like..one of the last buses... supposed to reach at 10p.m. but only did 40 minutes later... and his head looks so... bare... but nottoo bad anyway.. he says that they'll shave his head every two weeks to tell the world that he's a new recruit so if they do anything wrong everyone will know.. anyway he wants to buy a new cap to wear for cny...
well anyway tomorrow im supposed to go to chinatown with yuhui sock fern celest toni.. who else... and i hope its not gonna be crowded..i hate crowds... but boy we rreally gotta go back and visit that macs lady who was laughing at us for opening the umbrella in the restroom last year.. hahaha... and i'm also supposed to tell them all about my trip to nz and the antartica... yuhui was so excited when she read my mail and called me up... hahaha come on man she went to switzerland.. and i want to go there... hrmmph... oh and whui is in london now btw..she flew off yesterday...
hmmmmmmm i just got back from the hospital..i was watching the silly chinese show..the..wo jia zhai toa payoh..haha and before that i was watching star search.. that little girl can really sing. anyway speaking of singing..today i was in this vcd shop and they were playing anita mui's video..and i felt so sad i wanted to cry...i think her life was really sad..why didnt she take the treatment?? sigh...i like her so much now...but its so sad i'll never get to meet her..she can sing ..dance ..act.. she can do everything so well!!
anyway i went to parkway parade today and i met cheryl tay there!! shopping at giant..haha. and i mph there is like one of the best.. since the one at whatever road near the nat lib closed.. but they didnt have any suitable journals that i liked.. its like.. 14 days into the new year and i still havent found one i like! man .. im going to have a whole lot to write when i finally find one..anyway they didnt carry chew on it comics either.. ive been looking all over singapore (yes practically) for that to send to alison for her late xmas pressie.. well and then i had an ice peach tea at pac coffee that tasted like bubble tea.. hMm.
well id better go to sleep early soon today .. tomorrow i am going to send my brother off to pulau tekong to see him get his head shaved!! mwahahaha..now he can save on his stupid hair gel ...
sigh.... wonder why this year has been so sucky its only been 10 days..oh well i dont really know why but lifes been quite sucky these few days and ...ive been feeling quite down too..and now i think celest is pissed with me... hmm am watching two weeks notice now ..cheers me up abit :) i adore sandra bullock and hugh grant together.. make a perfect comedy pair. and im addicted to michael buble..oh sick i just watched battle royale..it is so totally gross..i feel so disturbed now..
umm..finally covered quite a few things on my list of things to do already.. watched love me if you dare, mona lisa smile and scary movie 3 ... did bowling pool ice skating library..the list goes on.. now i still have to email they korean and vietnam person but trying to compose my mail nicely..darn but if its going to turn out ..got to leave in 2 weeks. well elliot was an idiot yesterday.. was getting cash and he stood beside me and the option for how much i wanted came out and he said let me help you.. and in a flash ...he pressed the $500 button and the stupid machine processed it so quickly i couldnt cancel it.. so there i was stuck with a freaking 500 bucks at lido with no cash deposit machine anywhere near.. but anyway went all the way down to the hospital after that ...but all for nothing cos visiting hours were over so had to go back in the evening..hmM i want a samsung phone...me bro now has 3 phones and he doesnt wan tto give me his extra one to sell how annoying. but i think i shouldnt be annoyed..? i made him spend a lot on me yyesterday..mwahaha
oh btw i dont think we got into the amazing race..no call and besides he's going to camp next thurs already ... i wonder if ns on tekong is that nice..
happeeee new year!! and thanks for everything 2003! just got back and had a refreshing shower not long ago...went for midnight service but didn't really listen to the message by the bishop..was a bit distracted, and i went out to see the beautiful fireworks..isn't our country just so blessed by God that we get to enjoy such luxuries..it was really really lovely! especially the last one..unfortunately i didn't bring my cam along so had to ask some guy who took pics to send to me...anyway, what a way to usher in the new year...with God :)
